Taproot I have chosen Taproot as December/January's band of the month. I have been listening to their music for about one year now. They are a great band and I am finally beginning to hear their music on the radio stations which makes me smile because they deserve to make it and get the respect in the music scene that they have earned. When I first heard their music I thought they sounded a whole lot like the deftones which is a good thing, but now I have come to appreciate their individual sound as I listened to their albums more and more. They've also got computer skills hehe.....Phillip is good with computers and Mike is great with graphics from what I hear. If you go to their website and read the biography you'll see what the band went through with Fred Durst. I thought it was quite humorous actually. Over the past year or so I have begun to slowly dislike Fred Durst (vocalist for Limp Bizkit if you all don't know) for one reason or another. Just my little opinion though. I still supported their music and bought their CDs but not the new one "chocolate starfish and the hotdog flavored water"?? hehe....Anways go read up on Taproots biography and download some of their music from napster and have fun! Go to a concert or two and mosh for me some too!!!!
