Photography

Photography is a new hobby of mine. Its actually always been an interest of mine since I was little, but didn't have my own camera as my parents always thought I would break it if they handed me one. Probably true, but hey give a kid a break , right? lol. Black and white photography of scenery has always been my very favorite. Theres something about it thats just even more colorful to me than having a color photography. I think its the fact that you see a black and white photo and you imagine in your mind what it must look like if you were standing right there where the photo was taken. You imagine the beauty and I guess thats whats so great to me. I have a great imagination. =^.^=

I got my Nikon manual camera two christmas' ago. Since then I've been slowly collecting more gear for the camera. I like taking pictures of scenery more than people. I also find it to be a very calming hobby for me. Everything else I do usually takes up a lot of energy, but this is something where I can go for a hike and just look at my surrounding and if I find something thats beautiful that I would like to take a picture of I will do so. I constantly have about 12 rolls of film with me. Unfortunately for me, I don't have my very own dark room yet, but hopefully soon. I would like to develop my own film and not have to take them in to places.

Theres really not much else I could say about this hobby of mine. In high school I dreamt about someday being a famous artist and/or photographer. My parents wouldn't let me take the photography class cause it required you to buy a manual and 35mm camera. They didn't feel that I had enough responsibility and enough love for it to take care of the cameras so I never took the classes. I have been thinking about taking some basic photography courses at my community college. Could be fun :) Once I have some photos I like that I take I will post them here.
